Canadian Author Victoria Barbour

As most of you know, I am an unashamed AVID reader. I spend way more time than I should indulging my love of romance novels. Recently I discovered an unknown-to-me author. And I love her work. Her stories pull me in, keep me enthralled and warm my heart. Better than that, she is a fellow Canadian! Woot! Woot! Happy Dance! (I admit to being biased and partial to Canadians.)

I present to you ... THREE NEW RELEASES FROM CONTEMPORARY AUTHOR VICTORIA BARBOUR.

If you like charming and witty contemporary romances, then Victoria Barbour’s Heart’s Ease series might be for you.

Heart's Ease is the fictional Newfoundland village where Victoria Barbour weaves her contemporary love stories. Each novel tells the tale of how two hearts found their match on the wind-swept shores of an island closer to the old world than much of North America. From the characters you meet, to the food they eat, you'll find yourself longing to find your own Heart's Ease.
This week she launched:
Hard As Ice, a tale about an NHL hockey star who finds love while healing from a concussion.
Play Me, a story of a family feud that threatens to tear a love apart before they even begin.
21st Century Rake, a modern-day Regency romance featuring a rock superstar and a geeky virgin.
The first book in the series, Against Her Rules, is on sale until April 18 for just .99  on Kindle, Kobo, iBooks and Nook.

Visit her page on Amazon for links to buy all these fabulous stories.

  1. Started reading Vicki's book yesterday. Loving her folksy, honest voice. Like a trip back to Newfoundland itself.

  2. She does have a way with words, doesn't she? And NFLD? Such a beautiful place, but I wouldn't want to live there in winter.\

  3. Thanks Kim. Glad you're enjoying it. Katie, our winters are normally nice. But after this winter, I'm not even going to try and convince you otherwise. LOL

  4. Huge week for you, Victoria. Wishing you all the best.

  5. Thanks Sarah. I can say with certainty that I will never launch three books at the same time again. :)

    1. There has been a lot of discussion in my RWA group about series releases. The general consensus seems to be to release each book 1-2 months after each other. Keeps the interest in the series alive and still allows people time to read them. A little late to ease your burden, but worth considering for next time. There is also talk of keeping one book on sale or free at all times to hook new readers. (Everyone likes a deal.)
